BullPhish ID June 5 v2.125.02 release notes - Hot Fix
Two issues occurred on June 4–5, 2025, affecting campaign sending behavior and delivery times in BullPhish ID.
Sending domain display issue (resolved)
Impact window: June 4, 2025, 09:36 AM – June 5, 2025, 08:28 AM EST
Due to a system issue, most global sending domains were temporarily overridden. Campaign emails were sent from the default bullphish.com domain instead of the one selected in the UI.
The following fixes have been applied:
- All affected domains have now been restored.
- The platform UI shows the correct sending domains.
- New campaigns are using the correct domains as expected.
Emails sent during the issue were delivered from bullphish.com domain, even if the UI now shows the original domain.
EXAMPLE If you selected bp-securityawareness.com for your training campaign, emails sent during the issue were delivered from bullphish.com. Any future reminders or new emails from that campaign will go out using the correct domain after the fix.
If your campaign was affected and you'd like to resend the invitation using the correct domain, click Resend on the Detailed Campaign page. This will re-send the emails with the restored sending domain.
Campaign delay issue (resolved)
Impact window: June 4, 2025
On June 4, an internal system issue caused all running and scheduled campaigns to get stuck in the queue. As a result, affected campaigns experienced a delay of approximately 9–10 hours before being sent.
The current status of this issue is as follows:
- The issue has been fully resolved.
- All delayed campaigns are now sent out as expected.
- No further action is needed from your side.
You may notice a difference between the scheduled and actual send times for campaigns affected on June 4.
Reports and campaigns information will reflect the actual (delayed) send times.
