Enhancement
Upcoming MFA Reset for training portal users
As part of recent upgrades to our authentication systems, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be reset for all users who access the training portal using MFA. This update is necessary to ensure compatibility with the new system and applies only to the training portal.
-
Reset date - August 21, 2025: After this time, affected users will be prompted to reconfigure MFA during their next login. If you do not use MFA to access the training portal, no action is required.
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our systems secure.
Fix
"Deactivate targets on BullPhish ID" option for Directory Sync
Issue
When the Deactivate targets on BullPhish ID option was selected, a target was deactivated when it was removed from an active directory group even when it still belonged to another active directory group.
Updated Behavior
If a target is removed ... | Then... |
---|---|
from only one active directory group but remains in at least in one other active directory group | the target will be removed from the corresponding BullPhish ID group. The target’s status will remain active. |
from all directory groups | the target will be removed from all BullPhish ID groups and marked as inactive. |
Updated Messaging
The wording for the Deactivate targets on BullPhish ID option has been updated to clarify the expected behavior and displays as follows:
The target will be marked as inactive only if they have been removed from all associated directory groups. If a target is removed from just one associated directory group but remains in another, they will be removed from the corresponding BullPhish ID group, but their status will not change, since they are still associated with an active group.
Default option
The default option has also changed as follows:
-
For new directory configurations, the default option will be Deactivate targets on BullPhish ID.
-
For existing directory configurations, the previous default option will remain unchanged.
See Adding a directory sync and Editing or deleting a directory sync for more information.
