Requiring users to log in with KaseyaOne
The Require Log In with KaseyaOne feature forces users to login with their KaseyaOne credentials to access BullPhish ID. When the feature is enabled by an organization, users can no longer log into BullPhish ID locally with their BullPhish ID credentials.
Enabling the Require Log In with KaseyaOne feature allows users to authenticate with their KaseyaOne modules using just one set of credentials. This provides a smoother user experience and increased security.
Pre-Requisites
- You must be a partner administrator for both BullPhish ID and KaseyaOne.
- You must have login credentials for BullPhish ID and KaseyaOne.
- You must have the same email address for BullPhish ID and KaseyaOne accounts.
- Before the Require Log In with KaseyaOne feature can be enabled, the Enable Log In with KaseyaOne toggle must be activated. For more information, see the article Enabling KaseyaOne Unified Login for your BullPhish ID Organization.
Require Log In with KaseyaOne feature
When you have enabled KaseyaOne Unified Login for your organization, you can enable the Require Log In with KaseyaOne feature on the Settings page.
When Require Log In with KaseyaOne is enabled, all of your users are required to log into to their KaseyaOne accounts to access BullPhish ID. Users will no longer be able to log into BullPhish ID with their BullPhish ID credentials.
However, you can select users to whom you want to provide an exception for this requirement. The selected users will be able to log into BullPhish ID with their BullPhish ID credentials while still having the option to log in using the KaseyaOne login method. For more information, see the section User Exceptions.
After the Require Log In with KaseyaOne feature is enabled, the User Exceptions field is active. In the User Exceptions field, you can select users that are allowed to log into BullPhish ID with their BullPhish ID credentials. Users that you include in the User Exceptions list will still have the option to log into BullPhish ID using the KaseyaOne login modal.
NOTE For customers with BullPhish ID and DarkWeb ID subscriptions: The User Exceptions list is shared by both products. Therefore, even if the Require Log In with KaseyaOne feature is not activated in DarkWeb ID, the User
Exceptions list would apply if the feature were to be activated in DarkWeb ID in the future.
The number of users that you can include in the User Exceptions list is unlimited. If one or two users are selected, their names are fully displayed in the User Exceptions field.
If three or more users are selected, only the number of selected users is displayed.
To see the name of each user, click the User Exceptions field to expand the list.
If you disable the Require Log In with KaseyaOne toggle, the User Exceptions field is disabled as well.
If you re-enable the Require Log In with KaseyaOne toggle, the User Exceptions field is re-enabled and retains the previously added users.
NOTE When Require Log In with KaseyaOne is enabled, a message is displayed on the Users tab on the Settings page indicating that users without a KaseyaOne account won't be able to log into BullPhish ID. You can click the Require Log In with KaseyaOne link to be redirected to the KaseyaOne tab where you can add existing users to the User Exception list.
The following describes user login scenarios that are possible when Require Log In with KaseyaOne is enabled:
- When a user attempts to log into BullPhish ID with their BullPhish ID credentials AND Require Log In with KaseyaOne is enabled, the user is redirected to the KaseyaOne login page.
NOTE This does not apply to users included in the User Exceptions list.
- When Require Log In with KaseyaOne is enabled and a user is included in the User Exceptions list, the user can log into BullPhish ID using their BullPhish ID or KaseyaOne credentials (if the user has a KaseyaOne account that is linked to their BullPhish ID account).
- When Require Log In with KaseyaOne is disabled, the user can log into BullPhish ID using their BullPhish ID credentials or KaseyaOne credentials (if the user has a KaseyaOne account that is linked to their BullPhish ID account).
The welcome email templates that are sent to newly added users are shown below. The particular template that is sent to each user is based on whether KaseyaOne Unified Login is enabled for the user’s organization and whether logging in with KaseyaOne is required.

KaseyaOne Unified Login is enabled but logging in with KaseyaOne is not required (Require Log In with KaseyaOne is not enabled)
